Cushion has always been great at visualizing an overview of your schedule and income, but the graphs only provide one angle—there’s so much more Cushion could reveal if we would dig deeper into the details. Instead of adding to the graphs, we decided to introduce a new element to the Track and Invoice sections—summary stats.
In the Track tab, you’ll now see your tracked time for the month, week, and day, along with how much you earned today compared to your financial goal. The stats’s colors are based on whether you hit your goal or not. For tracked time, the goal is actually your preferred workday hours. Cushion considers it good when you get close, but bad if you go over—indicating that you’re overworking yourself.
In the Invoice tab, the summary stats include amounts paid this year and month, as well as how much you’ve invoiced and how much is still outstanding. Within the stats, you’re able to see even more details, like how much of the outstanding income is late.
We’re thrilled with these new summary stats and how much more they can tell you about your work and income. Now that we have this system in place, we’ll look for other areas where we can reveal detailed insights.
