Invoice logos

Since launching Invoicing, there have been a number of feature requests, including the ability to send invoices directy from Cushion, accept payments via credit card, and track whether the client has seen the invoice. All of these are certainly on our list, but one feature in particular was echoed by everyone—invoice logos!

Now, when you view an invoice, you’ll see an option to upload a logo. Our initial version included support for PNG, GIF, or JPG files, which were easy to insert, but that wasn’t enough for us.

If you have your own logo, ideally it’s a vector file, which would scale perfectly whether viewed on the web, printed, or in a PDF. Because of this, we went the extra mile to support SVG files, too.

With an SVG, you don’t need to worry about dimensions at all—it’ll scale automatically and without blurring. Also, as a free bonus, SVGs support animation, so you can even upload an animated logo.

And because Cushion supports GIFs, too, you can also upload an animated GIF as long as it’s under 300kb. We love this animated logo by James Daly.
